Decline in Vienna’s Jewish population, result of the highest mortality since the war and a large number of conversions, was revealed today in figures published by the Jewish Community’s statistical department. The number of deaths in 1937 totalled 2,824 as against 720 births, while 620 Jews embraced Christianity.
