The Jewish War Veterans’ section of Oakridge Jewish cemetery was dedicated here yesterday, under the auspices of the YarmoDeVeere Post No. 469 of the American Legion and the committee of the National Jewish War Memorial.
Oscar E. Carlstrom, attorney general of the state of Illinois, Rabbi Lee J. Levinger, national chaplain of the American Legion, from Columbus, O., Colonel Howard P. Savage, past national commander of the American Legion, David L. Shillinglaw, state Legion commander. Judge Michael Feinberg, exalted ruler of Chicago Lodge. No. 4, B. P. O. Elks, Judge Henry Horner. Anton J. Cermak and Charles V. Barrett were among the speakers.
