The Cabinet resolved today, with the concurrence of the Defense Minister Moshe Dayan, to reduce the defense budget for fiscal 1972 by $23 million. The reduction reportedly reflects the continuing cease-fire in the Suez Canal zone which saves expensive ammunition.
