James J. Laughlin, attorney for Edward James Snythe, one of the 30 alleged selectionists on trial here, filed a motion in District Court today for the subpoenaing of Charles A. Lindbergh and Henry Ford as defense witnesses on the grounds that their utterances ” against the Jews are 100 times more vicious” than those of the defendants. Judge Edward Eicher, who is presiding, did not indicate whether he would issue the subpoenas requested by Laughlin.
