Delegates of the World Jewish Congress and the World Jewish Restitution Organization held a special meeting in Britain’s House of Lords prior to the Nazi gold conference scheduled to open Tuesday in London. Jewish officials outlined several goals of the conference, including a decision by the Tripartite Gold Commission to distribute between $60 and $70 million under its control to needy Holocaust survivors.
