An American Jewish Committee delegation visiting Morocco, was received at Rabat yesterday by the Resident General, Jean Lacoste; the French Minister, Pierre Siraud, and other French officials. The delegation expressed concern for the security of the Jews of Morocco and urged that Moroccan Jews be given full equality in any reform program that may be established.
The delegation, currently visiting Marrakesh and neighboring hill villages, met earlier with the council of the Jewish communities of Morocco in Casablanca, where it received the thanks of Council president Jacques Dahan for the efforts of American Jewry on behalf of Moroccan Jewry.
