Secretary of State Cordell Hull will receive Jewish leaders representing national organizations at the State Department in Washington tomorrow afternoon to hear a formal protest against the land ordinance, it was announced today by the American Emergency Committee for Palestine. The delegation will see Mr. Hull after presenting a petition opposing the Palestine land decrees to Lord Philip Lothian, British Ambassador.
Heading the delegation are Dr. Solomon Goldman, president of the Zionist Organization of America; Dr. Stephen S. Wise and Louis Lipsky, former heads of the organization Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the Jewish National Fund; Mrs. Herman Shulman, secretary of Hadassah, and Max F. Wolff and Max L. Hollander, grandmaster and grand secretary, respectively, of the Independent Order of Brith Abraham. Other delegates will represent religious and labor organizations.
A protest rally scheduled for March 11 was advanced to tomorrow night and will be held in Carnegie Hall.
