The Anglo-Jewish Association today announced that the Jewish delegation from England, which is proceeding to the United States to participate in the World Jewish Conference opening in New York next month, does not represent British Jewry.
Whatever the personal merits of the members of the delegation are, they have no mandate from recognized organs of English Jewry and are not entitled to speak on its behalf, Leonard Stein, president of the Anglo-Jewish Association, declared.
