Lithuania’s complete exclusion of Jewish students from the medical school of the University of Kaunas was sweepingly condemned today by a Jewish medical delegation, which appeared before the university senate.
Drs. Gorfunkel and Kinkelstein demanded that the senate immediately restore the rights of Jewish students and open the doors of the medical school to them.
University officials promised to consider the question at a special session of the faculty of the medical school.
