A motion urging the Lithuanian government to take cognizance of the anti-Semitic propaganda carried on under the previous regime was introduced in the Lithuanian parliament by the Club of Jewish Deputies.
The club urged the government to take steps to prosecute those who were guilty of circulating the pogrom literature prepared under the previous government.
