The views of Palestine Jewry with regard to the developments in the country and the necessary requirements for further progress were formulated yesterday at a meeting of the Vaad Leumi, the national council of Palestine Jews.
The meeting adopted in principle a memorandum which is to be submitted to the Permanent Mandates Commissilon of the League of Nations at its forthcoming session in Genera in June.
The memorandum will be presented to the Commission by a special delegation of the council, which will proceed to Genera. The delegation will consist of Mr. M. Dizengoff, former mayor of Tel Aviv. Rabbi Uziel and Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff.
The memorandum also formulates the demands of Palestine Jewry to the mandatory power.
