Jewish students and adults demonstrated peacefully today outside the Iraqi Embassy here protesting the imprisonment and threatened execution of Jews in Iraq. The demonstration was organized by student groups with the support of the Board of Deputies of British Jews and other major Jewish organizations. Demonstrators carried banners reading: “Let Them Go Home,” and “Stop the Barbaric Executions.” (A mass rally was also held in Tel Aviv. Demonstrators carried posters reading: “Let My People Go,” and “Hands Off Iraqi Jews.”)
