President Hindenburg today officially denied the report of his alleged negotiations with various political leaders for the creation of a united right wing front at the forthcoming Reichstag elections. Terming the report a pure invention, he also denied the rumor that he was to meet Adolph Hitler, leader of the anti-Semitic National Socialists (Fascists). He pointed out that from motives of principle he does not interfere in elections.
In the meantime the National Socialists announce that they have arranged for 34,000 meetings at which 1,500 speakers will demand the establishment of a peoples’ court to deal with all those favoring the Young Plan and the “Jewish bankers who plunder the peasantry.”
