The American Jewish Dentists Committee for the Hebrew University has contributed $5,000 to the building fund of the Medical Center on Mt. Scopus in the past two years, it was announced tonight at the second annual meeting and concert of the committee at the Hotel Pennsylvania. In addition, members of the committee’s executive body contributed $1,000 in December in response to a cabled emergency appeal. The committee, which hopes ultimately to sponsor a dental department at the medical center, has 300 members and is seeking a membership of 3,000. Speakers included Dr. Isidor Wachtel, chairman, and Dr. Henry Trattner, vice-chairman, who reported on activities of the past year.
