Plans for a new Jewish Community Center of Denver–to cost $1,500,000–were announced here today by Max M. Pomeranz, JCC president. Funds for the project will be raised through a long-range drive.
The building will be one of the most modern and complete Jewish Centers in the country, Mr. Pomeranz said. Included in the plans are a swimming pool, gymnasium, auditorium, complete health club, two handball courts, lounges for all ages, workshops for drama, music, dancing and arts and crafts, and about a dozen club rooms and large meeting rooms. In addition, there will be extensive outdoor recreational facilities.
