Desert flooding killed four Israelis. A surprise cloudburst Saturday caused cascades of water in the Judean Desert, overwhelming a group of rappelers near the Qumran Caves. Four of them were swept to their deaths. Rescue workers said that those killed had all been tied to the same rope, which stymied their efforts to elude the flood.
