Geza Desi, Hungarian Jewish jurist, member of the government party, will be appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, it was stated today on good authority.
In parliamentary circles the announcement called forth the comment that Desi’s appointment was a move on the part of the government to appease Hungarian Jewry for the appointment of Julius Goemboes, notorious anti-Semitic leader, to the position of State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior. The official announcement of both appointments is to be made simultaneously.
