Despite three petitions requesting school authorities not to buy German goods and pass them on to an unwilling student body, the biology department of City College yesterday morning received a crate of aquariums marked “Made in Germany.” The goods were bought from the Clay-Adams Company, 25 East 26 street, New York City.
A call to the Clay-Adams Company disclosed that it sells only German-made goods, although aquariums are manufactured in the United States.
