Undiscovered vandals destroyed ten Jewish ish gravestones and damaged many others in the Jewish cemetery at Krzepiec near the town of Czestochowa. Police are searching for the hooligans.
The Endeks. National Democrats, anti-Semitic anti-government party, are well organized in the Czestochowa region. On March 3, Jewish communities and Zionist organizations in the region telegraphed the Jewish National Council at Warsaw asking the organization to urge the Polish government to act and punish Endek hooligans who were terrorizing the Jews of the region. They reported that Jews had been attacked openly on the streets and that five Jews had been severely wounded.
