Governor William Comstock has appointed Joseph Sanders to be judge of the Common Pleas Court.

Mr. Sanders is a life-long Democrat and ranks among the outstanding leaders of his party in the state. Besides being a lawyer he is also an engineer and has originated the course of study of engineering jurisprudence at the Detroit Institute of Technology, a course which was later adopted by the University of Michigan.
