Rabbi Leon Fram of Temple Beth El, Detroit, argued for the affirmative on the question “Resolved that the Jews of the world should organize a public boycott of German goods in order to force the German government to rescind its anti-Semitic policy.” Philip Slomovitz, editor of The Detroit Jewish Chronicle, argued for the negative.
