A farewell dinner in honor of S. Dingol, managing editor of “The Day” was given by the editorial staff of the newspaper at the Commodore Hotel Saturday night. Mr. Dingol is saliling Wednesday on the steamer Albert Ballin on an extensive visit in Europe, where he will attend several Jewish conferences and the Zionist Congress, which will take place during the summer.
David Schapiro, publisher of “The Day”, Dr. S. Margoshers, editor, Irving Altman, business manager, Dr. A. Koralnik and other members of the editorial staff spoke. Mr. Z. H. Rubinstein will be the acting managing editor in Mr. Dingol’s absence.
