The news of the strange disappearance of General Alexander Paul Koutiepoff, former head of the staffs of Generals Denikin and Wrangel, and now chief of the White Russians living in exile, is recalling his notorious anti-Semitic activities. It was General Koutiepoff who was largely responsible for the anti-Jewish violence of the White Armies.

To him Jew and Communist were synonymous and he therefore “decorated” the streets of Rostoudon, Kharkov and the smaller cities with hanged innocent Jews. His name is remembered with horror by all Jews in Southern Russia. He was responsible for the ill-treatment of the Jews who were seized by the White intelligence service.

After General Wrangel’s death he was named chief of the White Guards living abroad. He has lived in fear of the Bolshevists and his Jew-hatred has become intensified.
