The Association of Christian Small Traders, an organization working under the slogan of anti-Jewish boycott was closed and several of its leaders arrested yesterday.
The action was taken following the disclosure by the authorities that the association was steeped in corruption and that a huge amount of the association’s funds were misappropriated by board members. The association was formed in 1917 on the initiative of the boycott parent organization, Rozwoj.
FELIX M. WARBURG RETURNS FROM AGENCY CONFERENCE
Felix M. Warburg, banker and philanthropist, American Commissioner of the Non-Partisar Palestine Survey Commission of the Jewish Agency, returned Monday on the steamer Deutschland.
During his stay in Europe, Mr Warburg visited Baron Edmond de Rothschild in Paris, proceeding to Hamburg where he visited his family. He was accompanied by Mrs. Warburg and his sister, Dr. Louise Derenberg of Hamburg.
