Displaced Jews here marked the third anniversary of their liberation from the infamous Bergen-Belsen concentration camp today by staging a protest meeting against the delay in their emigration to Palestine.
The meeting adopted ft resolution urging the United Nations to put “an end to our homeless which compels us to remain dependent on the favors and compassion of others. We cannot afford to celebrate as our blood is being shed now in the struggle for the future of our people. Let us return at last to the one place where the heart of the Jewish people beats–Eretz Israel.”
