Dissension was reported in Arab ranks today following a stormy meeting of leaders in the Moslem Club at Jaffa.
Adherents of former mayor of Jerusalem, Ragheb Bey Nashashibi, bitterly criticized the Grand Mufti, Haj Amin el Husseini, reportedly charging him with sitting idly in Jerusalem while Arab leaders languished in concentration camps. Similar criticism is understood to have been voiced by leaders of the Istiqlal Party.

Under emergency regulations, the Government withdrew permits of all publications which are not appearing regularly, in order to prevent substitute papers being issued for those that have been suspended.
The Palestine Telegraphic Agency, which is affiliated with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, was notified that its permit to issue bulletins has been suspended.
