The Nathan and Lina Straus Health Center, erected here through the generosity of the American philanthropist, reached another stage toward completion today. A celebration for the workers on the building was held last night.
The District Commissioner of Jerusalem, who addressed the gathering, praised the philanthropic work of Nathan and Lina Straus and complimented the workers on the quality of the building. At the suggestion of the workers, the District Commissioner despatched a cable of congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Straus. The entire building will be completed by the beginning of 1929. The occasion for the celebration was the completion of the roofing.
