A steady improvement in the condition of Mayor Meir Dizengoff, who has been critically ill for the last three days, was reported today by attending physicians. Three blood transfusions were performed upon the seventy-four-year-old mayor and pioneer settler of Tel Aviv.
In Jerusalem, Sir Robert Waley Cohen, who was injured in an automobile collision yesterday, also was reported to be improving. Sir Robert, prominent British industrialist active in Jewish causes, was in Palestine for the opening of the Mosul-Haifa pipe line.
