Unconfirmed reports persist that the Nazi Austrian Legion recruited from Austrian Nazis who escaped to Germany, and who are said to be stationed close to the Austrian border, may march on Vienna in an attempt to overthrow the Dollfuss regime.

Austrian monarchist elements are active now and a rumor persists that the Archduke Otto, claimant to the Austrian throne, would be brought to Vienna. At a monarchist meeting in Vienna the Chancellor, Prince in von Starhemberg, Heimwehr leader, and the Hajpsburg family were cheered. Speakers demanded the restoration of the Hapsburg to the throne.
