Funeral services were held Tuesday for Dorothy Levine, national vice president of Bnai Zion and president of Bnai Zion’s Women’s League. She died last Sunday after a prolonged illness at the age of 78.
Mrs. Levine, who was the wife of the late Dr. Harris Levine, former president of the Jewish National Fund of America, also served as JNF chairman for Bnai Zion and was a long-time member of the boards of the JNF, the American Zionist Federation and the America-Israel Friendship League.
A frequent visitor to Israel since 1948, she attended sessions of the World Zionist Congress and of the WZO Actions Committee, representing the World Confederation of United Zionists.
