Douglas Feith, a top Jewish official at the Pentagon, is quitting. Feith, the undersecretary of state for policy planning, said Wednesday he would leave by summer. Feith “earned the respect of civilian and military leaders across the government,” Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said in a statement.
