Dozens of Israeli high school seniors are refusing to serve in the Israeli army because of the army’s “terror operations” in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported. The 62 students, who urged other young Israelis to follow their example, made their intent known in a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
