Dr. A. I. Rubenstone has been named medical director of Mount Sinai Hospital, succeeding Dr. Henry B. Shmookler, who was killed in an automobile accident last month.
Dr. Rubenstone, who is an instructor in medicine at Jefferson College, has served as attending physician at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is the inventor of an apparatus for blood transfusions and has contributed numerous papers on medical and pathological subjects.
