Dr. Abraham King, for years an active leader in the Jewish cultural movement in this country, and former president of the Jewish Cultural Center of Mexico, died here today at the age of 80. Active in the work of The Freiland League, an organization based in the United States, devoted to the settlement of Jews in countries outside Israel, Dr. King established a foundation a year ago to aid the publication of the League’s journal, “On the Threshold.”
