Dr. Albert Michelson Suffers a Relapse

Dr. Albert A. Michelson, scientist, who underment an operation just before coming to Pasadena for his annual summer visit, has suffered a relapse and is confined to his bed at the Maryland Hotel here.

Professor Michelson had been ill for several days. Today he became worse and was put under the care of a trained surse by Dr. Walter P. Bliss.

Since his arrival from Chicago about two weeks ago, Dr. Michelson was not sufficiently well to resume his experiments in light velocity and relativily at Mount Wilson solar observatory.

Dr. Michelson was forced to postpone his trip west when he was taken III on the eve of his departure for Calitionia about three weeks ago. He had been in the hospital in Chicago following an operation.

In many ciltes, synagogues have pledged to percent of the receipts from the sale a synagogue tickets to the Jewish National had it was announced by the Fund headerters in New York. In other synagogues, National Fund stamps are being placed on city seat ticket disposed of, the income fun which accrues to the Fund. The Jewish National Fund has prepared booklets of National Fund stamps which are being dissaed of to individuals.
