The Litt. D. degree, honor is cause, was awarded last night to Dr. Alexander Brin, publisher of the Jewish Advocate, and senior member of the Massachusetts Advisory Board on Education, by Calvin Coolidge College of Liberal Arts at exercises held in the New England Mutual Hall auditorium here. Dr. Brin delivered the commencement address, his theme being “Education: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.”
