Dr. Anatol Galperin. a Soviet Jewish activist who recently received an exit visa after years of struggle, arrived here Monday night for a reunion with his wife who has been living in Beersheba. Dr. Galperin, an expert in applied mathematics, was granted a doctoral degree by the Haifa Technion on the basis of the work he completed in the Soviet Union. He was denied his degree–and dismissed from his job–in the Soviet Union after applying for an immigration visa. He will join the faculty of the Negev University in Beersheba.
