Dr. Arnulf M. Pins, recently appointed associate director of the Joint Distribution Committee in Israel, has been elected chairman of Eshel, the nationwide Association for Planning and Development of Services for the Aged in Israel, it was announced this week by Ralph I. Goldman, JDC executive vice-chairman. The election took place at the last meeting of the board of directors of Eshel, which was founded by the JDC in 1959. In both the JDC and Eshel positions Dr. Pins succeeds Goldman who became executive head of the JDC in January.
