The election of Rabbi Barnett R. Brickner of Cleveland as administrative chairman of the Committee on Army end Navy Religious Activities of the National Jewish Welfare Board and reorganization of the committee to meet the increased need for Jewish chaplains and religious services in the armed forces was announced today by Frank L. Weil, president of the Board.
Rabbi Louis M. Levitsky of Newark. N. J., president of the Rabbinical Assembly of America, was chosen a vice-chairman and chairman of the Exceutive Committee of the Committee on Religious Activities. Rabbi Joseph H. Lookstein, president of the Rabbinical Council of America, also was named a vice-chairman.
