Dr. Bruening, the German Federal Prime Minister, has sent a cable message to Mr. Julius Rosenwald’s family, conveying the sympathy of the German Government and people.

The Lord Mayor of Berlin, Dr. Sahm, has also sent a message of condolence to the family on behalf of the City.

The papers publish long obituaries, paying tribute to Mr. Rosenwald’s philanthropic work and recalling in particular his recent big gift of a million dollars for the establishment of a dental clinic in Berlin, and his repeated assistance to Germany during the difficult days of the inflation period.
