Rabbi Dr. Felix Goldmann, 52, prominent fighter against anti-Semitism in Germany and author of a number of books on the subject, died here today.
Dr. Goldmann, who had occupied a pulpit in Leipzig since 1917, was regarded as one of the outstanding leaders of liberal Jewry in Germany. He was known as a writer, scholar and as a great orator.
Among the books he wrote are: “Converted Jews and Anti-Semitism,” “Why We Are and Remain Jews,” “The Nature of Anti-Semitism” and “Oelbau in Palastina zur Zeit der Mischnah.”
