How pro-Nazi elements staged an anti-American and anti-Jewish demonstration in Argentine on May 21 was related here by Dr. Solomon Goldman, returning by Eastern Airlines from a six-week speaking tour in Argentine, Brazil, Paraguay and other South American countries in behalf of the Zionist cause.
Nazi influence, Rabbi Goldman said, has corrupted governmental circles of state, church and army in Brazil and Argentine but the rank and file of the population is stubbornly democratic and enthusiastically applauds the principles of President Roosevelt. Nazi diplomats and business men, aided by local “Quislings,” have wormed their way into every walk of life. On May 21 they staged a demonstration, led by General Juan Battista Molina, one of Argentine’s military chiefs, shouting: “Kill the Yankee! Kill the Jew! Kill the English!”
