Dr. Nahum Godlmann, president of the World Zionist Organization and of the World Jewish Congress, denied today reports that he had received a Soviet visa and planned to visit the USSR in the near future.
“I have not applied for a Russian visa nor have I received one,” he stated. “It is not my intention to visit the Soviet Union during the next couple of months, as in any case my time is already filled for this period with various other engagements.” Dr. Goldmann is scheduled to leave for Marseilles today to take a ship back to Israel.
