A delegation representing organized Jewry in Czechoslovakia arrived here last night and invited Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress, to lead a WJC delegation to visit Czechoslovakia’s Jews. The delegation is headed by Frantisek Fuchs, president of the Jewish Community of Bohemia and Moravia, and Benjamin Eichler, president of the Jewish Community of Slovakia.

While the WJC executive is currently in session here, the two Czechoslovakian Jewish leaders are not formal participants in that session. They met separately today with Dr. Goldmann and other WJC leaders outside the executive framework, discussing the cultural and religious ties between Czechoslovakian Jews and Jews elsewhere. Last night, the Czechoslovakian delegation leaders attended here a reception given to the WJC executive by the French section of the World Congress.
