A proposal that a world Jewish conference, composed of representatives of various groups in world Jewry, be held immediately after the World Zionist Congress which is to take place here at the end of April, was made today by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Jewish Agency executive, at the executive’s plenary session.

Dr. Goldmann also suggested that the forthcoming Zionist Congress should meet for 10 days, three of which should be devoted to Israel’s political and security situation and the seven others to current Zionist affairs and reorganizational problems. Joseph Sprinzak, Speaker of the Israel Parliament and member of the Jewish Agency executive suggested that the Zionist Congress should last five days only.
