He also spoke of the Austrian-Jewish negotiations on Jewish restitution claims and said that the fate of the negotiations would be decided within the next few weeks.
Dr. Giora Josephthal, Agency treasurer, reported on the situation in the immigrant transit camps following the recent heavy rains and floods. He outlined plans for alleviating the condition of the immigrants in the camps and for eliminating the camps altogether.
