Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, has in the name of the Jewish organizations expressed his thanks and appreciation to Bonn Minister of Finance Fritz Schaeffer for the latter’s “initiative in connection with the drafting and passage” of the law to indemnify individual victims of Nazism, it was revealed here in a press release from the Ministry of Finance. Similar cables were sent by Dr. Goldmann to other members of the Adenauer cabinet.
