Dr. Abraham Granott, world president of the Jewish National Fund, has accepted an invitation to attend the Golden Jubilee Conference of the American Jewish National Fund to be held in Washington on January 19-21, 1951, Dr. Israel Goldstein, chairman of the J.N.F.’s Golden Jubilee Committee announced today. Dr. Granott will submit to the Conference, which will be attended by 2,000 delegates from all over the country, a ten-year program for the irrigation and cultivation of the Negev desert and other wastelands in the state of Israel.
