Dr. Samuel S. Hollender, Chicago business leader, has been named general chairman for the Jewish Federation’s 1963 Campaign for $6,448,000. The appointment was announced this week by Joseph L. Gidwitz, president of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. Dr. Hollender has served on the Federation’s Board of Directors and was president of the Jewish Federation for three years.
