Dr. Israel Goldstein, American Zionist leader, today sent a letter to Judge Louis E. Levinthal, honorary president of the American Jewish League for Israel, informing him that he has joined the League. Both Dr. Goldstein and Judge Levinthal are now in Jerusalem attending the sessions of the Zionist Actions Committee.
Dr. Goldstein declared in his letter to Judge Levinthal that he had accepted the invitation to join the League whose platform affirms the obligation of constructive work for Israel because of the League’s fundamental principle of non-identification with any political party in Israel.
